It’s not a secret but it is often a truth we shy away from. The magic is YOU. These watery, colorful, illuminated pieces are about the subject not the portrait. Luminescent Soul Portraits capture your essence not just your likeness. They are one of a kind like you are one of a kind. The magic is in what you need help seeing in yourself during crucial times of life. Often portraits are gifts to oneself or someone else in times of change, release, grief, growth, and celebration. Luminescent Soul Portraits are visionary portraits. They are part hand drawn portrait illustration and part oracle reading. When I create, the realms of heaven and earth connect and I get to slip into the mystical world for a short while. With Luminescent Soul Portraits I can share the images and stories I receive when I create. My intuitive process for creating a custom portrait of you or someone you consider to be a "Luminescent Soul" is founded upon client input. However I also may use oracle cards, nature walks and other elements for inspiration.

The information that is given to me at the beginning of the process about the client helps to guide my drawing and inform how I begin a portrait but there are always surprises that unfold along the way. I hope you meet me in the land of luminescent magic.

Then send me 3 or 4 photos of the person where I can see their facial features and hair well. One of the photos can have them wearing sunglasses if there are some other elements in the photo that you think would be helpful in me capturing their likeness. I currently have 3 tiered options in an effort to make these portraits accessible to as many people as possible and offset some of the existing inequities. I offer portraits in this sliding scale range. Please choose the rate the best applies to your situation.

• $150 - Community Rate (supported by others)
• $225 - Sustainer Rate (pays for you and sustains the project)
• $300 - Supporter Rate (pays for you and supports others)

This pricing scale is on the honor system. It helps me offer lower pricing to those that can not afford the higher tiers and allows for people who can pay more to help contribute to people who need the lower tier pricing. Please choose the option that is best represents your financial needs. When placing your order please fill out the form with as much info as you can. This information you fill out when ordering your portrait will help guide my drawing and inform how I begin a portrait. I may or may not use all the details you provide but the information helps me start the portrait.

What you get:

Portraits are on 6x8 inch high quality watercolor paper. The image will also go to the edges of the paper. Everything is hand drawn and painted with mineral water colors handmade by Wildthorne paints made in Santa Cruz County. I will also include a white mat with your purchase so it’s ready to frame. The mat opening will be 6x8 but the frame size will be 8x10. You will also receive a written explanation of the symbols and images you see. This piece of paper gives deeper insight to your image as well as helps you connect in your own way to the signs and symbols you see.

Portraits take about 4 weeks when I receive all the items I need the same day.
If not there can be a slight delay. This isn’t just an artistic process this is also an energetic process. Sometimes images and messages come at the strangest times.
